Thank you for sharing. Story making/narrative as a total sense making system is a very compelling meta-theory. There are others of course and it depends on what floats an individuals boat. In my travel Is came across a Folklorist Vladimir Propp who analysed Russian folk tales and they all boil down to 31 steps (hero acquires a magical agent, for example). Apropos to that a recent article appeared on why on philosopher abandoned Stoicism for Existentialism. There are many sense making mechanisms. What I was taught is that the least number of explanatory theories is a more elegant and defendable rhetoric than combing many together. I posited that The Gaze could help make sense or explain the internet (not who made it or why it is used for immoral purposes which is the nature of human criminality) and it may be helpful or purposeful to expose some of these ideas to explain the modern techno complex. Therefore "Saving the Web" is a bit silly in my mind it is like any complex system (economics, weather) it has it's own state of brokenness or grace.
